- Other victims recount ordeal
Two young ladies identified as Bukola Adisa and Helen Temitope, have been accused of defrauding a man of #20,000 under false pretence.
The ladies, based in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state reportedly promised to visit the men in Ilesa, Osun State, but cut all communication channels immediately after receiving money from them to cover transportation cost from Ado Ekiti.
One of the men, (name withheld) said the ladies intentionally ignored their calls and refused to respond to messages on their Whatsapp lines 09064969508 and 07035830381.
He added that they also reached out to them on their tiktok handles, @temmyt741 and @oluwabukolaajoke1 all to no avail.
Bukola Adisa according to him works as Sales Representative for Best Whiskey at Radiance Lounge and Bar, along Bank road in Ado-Ekiti.
“We were shocked at what these ladies did, because we never expected it. We meant well for them.
“We had agreements to start something meaningful with them and they agreed. Only for them to deceive us and escape with our money, ” he said.
They also noted that some other guys have testified to the fraudulent acts of Bukola Adisa and Helen Temitope, saying they have been victims of similar scam from these two ladies before.
One guy, Mr Joel Adeaga, said, “I know them very well. I have been a victim in their hands before.
“I have also met some others who said the same. The police needs to do something about this criminal acts.”
The second victim, said the lady has been sharing cryptic messages on her Whatsapp status to make jest of them.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, vowed to report the incident to the Nigeria Police Force, citing that the actions of the women amounted to trickery and breach of trust, both of which are offences under Nigerian law.
“I hope to take it up because I know the law frowns upon acts of deceit, particularly when money is involved, as they violate basic legal and moral standards.
“I am going to make sure that I pursue this to the end and trace them to their parents houses so that they know what their daughters are doing,” he said.
He said efforts are on to seek justice through law enforcement agents.
