- Women Enterpreneural Organisation Holds 2025 Summit October 08-09, 2025
The Chief Executive Officer, Opulent Ceramics, Mrs Ruth Funmilola Bello, has underscored the importance of self love as a key factor towards improving mental wellbeing and living a fulfilled life.
She said self-love improves emotional feeling, gives stability, boosts confidence, strengthen personal boundaries, and enhances problem solving skills.
Bello stated this while speaking during the monthly engagement talk organized by the NECA’S Network of Entrepreneurial Women, NNEW, Kwara State Chapter, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Speaking on the topic, ‘Art of Self love,’ the entrepreneur said having a healthy relationship with oneself, helps to reduce the mental troubles prevalent in the society today.
She added that the gesture also helps women stay afloat despite the challenges in the family, business and other aspects of human endeavours.
The CEO of Opulent Ceramics highlighted the pillars of Self-love to include self knowledge, self compassion, self acceptance and self care.
This, according to her, help individuals add value to themselves by knowing their strength and weaknesses, make peace with the past, and , pamper themselves.
“The pillars of self love also fortify one with the ability to forgive and comfort oneself in time of hardship rather than self blame.”
Bello charged women in Kwara to imbibe the spirit of self love and continue to infect the public positively as they strive to be agents of change that Nigeria requires.
Meanwhile, the National Chapter of NNEW, is to hold her 2025 Summit in Lagos. The 3-days summit, with the theme: ‘Evolve, Elevate and Celebrate,’ will hold on October 08-09, 2025, at NECA House, Alausa, Lagos.
The NNEW Chairperson in Kwara state, Mrs Ayobami Bamigboye Adediran, said the summit hopes to celebrate the impact and milestone recorded by NNEW in 20 years of establishment.
Adediran noted that the summit offers an opportunity to celebrate the landmarks recorded by women in various endeavours as well as network with trailblazers.
She emphasized the need for women in different strata to join the organisation in a bid to enjoy its numerous benefits and collectively tackle the challenges confronting women in the society.
