The digital campaign manifesto of APC House of Representatives aspirant for Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Hajia Mopelola AbdulMalik Bashir, has surfaced online shortly after her successful screening in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The manifesto, which has since generated discussions across political and social media circles, presents Mopelola’s vision for what she described as “a new touch of representation” focused on grassroots development, inclusion, and responsive leadership.

The former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Water Resources outlined a broad development agenda covering water supply, youth empowerment, agriculture, road infrastructure, healthcare, women inclusion, education, and rural development.

The digital document also highlights her achievements in public office, including her role in facilitating the establishment of Kwara State’s first Sexual Assault Referral Centre and fast-tracking the signing of the United Nations framework on Peace, Women and Security which had reportedly remained inactive since 2017.

Political observers say the online circulation of the manifesto marks an early attempt by the aspirant to define the conversation around her campaign through policy focused engagement rather than conventional political rhetoric.

The manifesto further emphasizes empowerment programmes for youths, irrigation farming initiatives, rehabilitation of abandoned roads, educational support schemes, and advocacy for additional local governments within the Asa axis.

Supporters of the aspirant have described the document as detailed, practical, and reflective of the realities facing communities across Ilorin West and Asa.

Many also view the digital rollout as part of a broader strategy to connect with younger voters and expand direct communication with constituents ahead of the APC primaries.

Mopelola maintained that her aspiration is driven by service, competence, and the desire to deliver more inclusive and people oriented representation at the National Assembly.
