Balogun community hails Gov. AbdulRazaq, Residents for new transformer

  • Appeals for extension of road work beyond Jalala

The people of Balogun community have expressed appreciation to the Kwara state Governor, Mallam Abdulrazak Abdulrahman and the Commissioner for Energy, Engr Abdulazeez Abdulganiy for the new 300kva transformer given to the community to take the people out of darkness.

The community has been without electricity for several months due to the damaged transformer for the past six months.

The Community leadership committee in a statement also thanked the people of Balogun, Oluwatedo, Temidire and Heritage estate for their patience throughout the period of darkness in the community and their cooperation in coming together to contribute and purchase a new 500kva transformer to support the government donated 300kva in order to avoid the previous overload that damaged the existing 300kva in the community.

“We pray for our Governor that Almighty Allah will continue to guide him in his quest to take Kwara state to a greater height,” the statement read.

The communities further pleaded with “the people’s Governor for the extension of road project that stopped at Jalala.”

“We want the road network to extend to Aleniboro, Agbede, Fajeromi down to Gaa-Akanbi.

“We pray for the people of our community that God Almighty will protect each and everyone of us.”
