All is now set for the 2026 ILOKO DAY celebration which will hold on Saturday, April 04, 2026, with the theme “IMBIBING PATRIOTISM FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.” The venue is the Town Hall, Iloko Ijesa.
A statement jointly issued by the Chairman, Iloko Development Association, Prince Kayode Adedire and the Secretary of the Association, Elder Taiwo Omojola said this year’s Iloko Day is designed to be an in – house affair for sons and daughters of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade Local Government of Osun State.
The Chairman of the event is the Osun State Commissioner for Cooperative and Empowerment, Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe. The co – Chairmen are Prince Bimbo Olashore and Dr Ademola Odeyemi while the the Chief Host is Dr Thomas Ogungbangbe.
Dr Ademola Adeyemi, Mr Kayode Osunmakinde and Chief Yemi Fasogbon are the Principal Hosts while the Special Guest of Honour is Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi.
According to the statement, the Owaloko of Iloko, Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, the Ajagbusi Ekun VI, the Owaloko who is also the Royal Father of the Day, advised all sons and daughters of Iloko Ijesa to attend the event and participate actively. Kabiyesi also wished them journey mercies.
