The Founder and Chairman, Bright Broadcasting Limited, owners of Diamond FM Ilesa and Ilorin, Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi has charged Nigerians to remain steadfast in the Lord and continue to pray fervently for the restoration of Nigeria’s glory.
Awotuyi posits that only by upholding the Christian values and principles can one survive this edgy period and make meaningful difference in the society.
The media proprietor stated this in his Easter message issued to rejoice with Christians as “we celebrate yet another Easter.”
Awotuyi, who underscored the significance of the Easter season, noted that the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ remains our eternal saving grace as humans which he said must never be taken for granted.
“Easter reminds us of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. While his death remains the greatest human sacrifice on earth, his resurrection symbolizes hope, renewal, and eternal life.
“This time therefore, as we celebrate, we must also take time to reflect and rededicate ourselves to the ideals and values that Jesus Christ exemplified.
“Let us continue to live in love and peace with one another, spread His gospel and immerse ourselves in spiritual rejuvenation as we have done through the Lenten period,” he said.
The business doyen also called for prayers for the nation’s leaders to be able to steer the nation towards a desired destination.
Awotuyi congratulated the body of Christ on this Easter celebration and urged them to celebrate in peace and moderation.
