The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, says all is now set for the election into the State Executive Council. The election is scheduled to hold from 27th to 29th January, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Secretary, Electoral Committee, Folorunso Surprise, and made available to newsmen, the NYCN said any aspirant vying for Office in the Council shall obtain a nomination form through his or her affiliate organization or Local Branch from 22nd to 24th January, 2025 from the Electoral Committee and submit same after duly completed.
According to the Electoral Committee, the Nomination Form is free but with the proof of 5,000 Naira payments for the NYCN Constitution.
While noting that all participating Local Branches and respective VYO’s of the Council are required to pay annual due of two years of 2023 and 2024, the statement added that respective local branches in the state shall have 5 delegates while VYO’s shall have 3 delegates each for the Congress.
The NYCN said it will still extend Invitation Letter to all VYO Heads and Coordinator of Local Branches in due course.
