PEPT ruling: Osun ADC Chieftain, Abayomi calls for calm

Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Honourable Fadipe Ajisafe Abayomi, has called on Nigerians, especially peace abiding people of Ijeshaland to remain calm and maintain peace and order following the Presidential Election Tribunal that upheld the victory of President Bola Tinubu. 

Ajisafe, also known as Yomi Shitta gave the admonition in a statement issued by his media office on Thursday in Ilesha, Osun State. 

It will be recalled that Justice Haruna Tsamani five man led tribunal upheld the victory of President Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC as the duly elected winner of the February twenty-fifth presidential election.

Yomi Shitta, who was the ADC candidate for Ilesha West State Constituency in the March 18th House of Assembly election in Osun maintained that peace is an essential requirement for national development which is the yearning of many Nigerians. 

He also called on the aggrieved parties to approach the apex court in the land to seek redress. Shitta further reiterated his belief in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man to allow truth to prevail.
