The Chief Executive Officer of Emirate Mall, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim and Christian faithful on the commencement of the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent, both beginning on Wednesday.

In a goodwill message, Abdullahi described Ramadan as a sacred month during which Muslims observe fasting, engage in fervent prayers, and devote themselves to acts of charity and spiritual reflection in obedience to Almighty Allah.

He noted that the Lenten season is equally a solemn period for Christians, marked by fasting, prayer, repentance, and renewed commitment to faith and service to humanity.

The Emirate Mall boss urged believers to use the sacred periods to pray for the nation, particularly as Nigeria continues to confront insecurity and socio-economic challenges.

He called for deep reflection, unity, sacrifice, and compassion among citizens, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

Abdullahi also encouraged Muslims and Christians to uphold the core lessons of the seasons — love, patience, tolerance, generosity, and peaceful coexistence — stressing that such values should extend beyond the fasting period into everyday life.

He further expressed heartfelt sympathy to families and communities affected by insecurity, especially those who have lost loved ones, and appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to support government efforts in providing relief materials and assistance to affected persons.

He prayed that the holy seasons would usher in renewed peace, unity, and prosperity for the nation.
