‘Right Conduct, Collective Responsibility Key to Surmount Nigeria’s Challenges’ – Saraki

In his continued show of commitment towards spiritual growth and religious solidification, former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Saturday attended the commissioning of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Isegun, Oko-Irese, Irepodun local government areas.

He also made a handsome donation during the commissioning of the church built by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Elder Hon. David Bamidele, JP.

Delivering his keynote address at the event, Saraki, who was represented by Rev. Cornelius O. S Fawenu, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the CAC within and outside Nigeria for their relentless prayer for the State and the nation.

According to a statement by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, the former Senate President, charged the church and the general faith community not to relent in their prayers and guidance.

Saraki noted that the problem bedevilling the nation is surmountable through the right conduct by individuals and collective responsibility of the generality of the populace.

Saraki, whose generous donation was announced to the excitement of the congregation, pledged to always support the faith community.

He lauded the President of CAC worldwide, Pastor Samuel Oladele, for his commitment to the doctrinal purity of the church and societal betterment.

Elder Hon. David Bamidele and the leadership of the Church expressed their happiness and gratitude to receive Saraki’s representation and donation.

The church prayed to God to continue His divine protection over Saraki and continue to lead him right in his endeavours.

Other donors who supported Dr Saraki’s donation include Prof. Murtala Awodun and Chief Gbenga Obanla.

Other PDP chieftains present at the church commissioning include: the Kwara South PDP Chairman, Sir Comrade Bisi Fakayode, the State PDP Publicity Secretary, Comrade Olusegun Adewara, Chief Mrs Ebun Owolabi, Chief Mrs Magret Abegunde, Mrs Fadunmade, Hon. Saba Jiyah Timothy from Edu LGA and other PDP stalwarts.
