The Member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya, has lauded Kwara State Governor, His Excellency Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq CON, for his visionary leadership and the unveiling of the historic 70-meter Unity Flagpole—now the tallest in West Africa.

“The Unity Flagpole, much like the Governor’s transformative strides in technology (Innovation Hub), creative arts (Visual Arts Centre), and enterprise (Garment Factory), reaffirms Kwara’s emergence as a hub of modernity and cultural renaissance.”

He further emphasized that the towering structure stands as a guiding light” for citizens and visitors, symbolizing the state’s balanced approach to development—where infrastructure meets inspiration, and functionality blends with heritage.
