Senator Ademola Adeleke on Sunday took the oath of office as the new Osun State governor.

He, however, ignored the state anthem which was supposed to follow the national anthem.

The current anthem adopted by the state was introduced by the past governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola after he took over from Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola in 2010.

While giving his executive order, Adeleke said all government signage, correspondence should be reversed from State of Osun to Osun State.

He also freezed all state government accounts.

Adeleke who contested in 2018 against the immediate Governor, Gboyega Oyetola was on Sunday sworn-in as 6th governor of the state.
