Excitement, encomiums and accolades continue to pour in for the Founder, Kayode Adamolekun Foundation, Engr Kayode Adamolekun as his foundation commenced distribution of yuletide package for the aged in Ekiti State.
The foundation commenced distribution of items to include cloths, bags of rice, gallons of vegetable oil and N5000 cash to aged women in Gboyin local government area, Ekiti State to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
The package, according to him, is aimed at putting smile on faces of less privileged and aged persons amidst economic hardship in the country.
The Yuletide Package has turned created a bubbling, carnival-like atmosphere as beneficiaries across strata of the society celebrated.
One of the beneficiaries, while appreciating Kayode Adamolekun said the distribution of yuletide package to the less privileged and aged persons have brought joy to the people.
His words: “I am happy with the food items, cloths and cash gift given to us by an illustrious son of this community, Kayode Adamolekun. He has always been doing this to help the needy in the society. The food and cash gift will go a long way to ameliorate the suffering facing people due to fuel subsidy removal. The Almighty God will continue to bless him.”
Community Leader in Ijan, Chief Adeniyi Aladesin and Olugbenga Adetiba from Ilumoba both described Adamolekun’s gesture as huge relief to his people, especially with the growing inflation rate in Nigeria.
Similarly, another Community Leader in Aisegba, the home of Kayode Adamolekun lauded the philanthropist for his consistency and commitment towards giving hope to the downtrodden in Gboyin local government and other parts of Ekiti State.
Earlier, Kayode Adamolekun in a chat with newsmen said he derives joy in providing succour to the less privileged as directed by Jesus Christ.
He noted that Christmas is a season to share love and make people merry, irrespective of their social status.
