The former Kwara Assembly Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Raphael Adetiba noted that Bolarinwa’s endorsement aligns with the perceived direction of APC national leadership

According to him, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has succeeded in unifying various tendencies within the party in Oke-ero local government. I am happy to see every important APC stakeholder here today.
The newly appointed Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker House of Representatives, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, highlighted Bolarinwa’s pivotal role in the 2019 “Otoge” struggle.
“BOB was the chairman of the movement that delivered an unprecedented victory in Kwara—winning all House of Assembly seats, National Assembly seats, and the governorship. There is no reason we should not rally behind him to become the next Governor of Kwara State.
Hon. Michael Owolabi Sunday (aka Rajal), a former TIC Chairman of Oke-Ero, drew on his personal experience working in the National Assembly to vouch for Bolarinwa’s legislative pedigree.
“During his tenure representing Lagos State at the National Assembly, he performed incredibly well,” Hon. Owolabi noted.
“His representation was qualitative, and he proved himself as a mobilizer during the Otoge struggle. I really have confidence in his capacity to rule Kwara State.”
