- Thanks Gov. AbdulRazaq on Aláàfin’s Recent Visit to Kwara
The Ọ̀họ̀rọ̀ of Shàó, His Royal Majesty, Ọba Job Ọbalówu Atọ́lágbé Ìlúfẹ́milóyè Ayànwọlá 4th, has joined the Yorùbá nation and well-wishers in Nigeria and across the globe to felicitate the Aláàfin of Ọ̀yọ́, His Imperial Majesty, Ọba Abímbọ́lá Akeem Ọ̀wọ́adé Elẹ́wù Ẹtù 1st, on his first anniversary on the revered Aláàfin royal throne.
Ọ̀họ̀rọ̀ described the occasion as a royal celebration of excellence, bountiful achievements and reaffirmation of a promising future.
In statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Shàó Àwọ́ngá Community Development Association, Dr. Sàngódáre Áyìnlá, Ọba Atọ́lágbé stated that the ascension of His Imperial Majesty, Ọba Abímbọ́lá Akeem Ọ̀wọ́adé Elẹ́wùẹtù 1st, Ikú Bàbá Yèyé, to the venerated stool of Aláàfin is a milestone in the history of Ọ̀yọ́ Kingdom, adding that his reign has lent credence to the reverence, magnitude and prowess the Yorùbá race is known for.
The Ọ̀họ̀rọ̀ of Shàó described Ọba Ọ̀wọ́adé as an embodiment of unity, dignity, wisdom, humility and an unwavering commitment to the preservation of Yoruba heritage and traditions.
He noted that his reign has been shaping the identity and guiding the Yorùbá moral values.
Ọba Atọ́lágbé referred to the recent visit of Ọba His Imperial Majesty, Ọba Abímbọ́lá Akeem Ọ̀wọ́adé Elẹ́wùẹtù Ist, to Shàó Àwọ́ngá and Jebba in Moro Local Government Area as a historic milestone that has strengthened and deepened reunion between Ọ̀yọ́ and the two communities, praising the Aláàfin for reaffirming that “Shàó is Ọ̀yọ́; Ọ̀yọ́ is Shàó.”
“The visit of Alááfin Ọ̀yọ́ to Shàó and Jebba shows the ethnic and cultural ties between Ọ̀yọ́ and the Yorùbá people in Moro. It was a memorable event.
