Adeleke @66: Osun NYCN Lauds Governor’s Commitment to Youth Inclusion, State Development

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State Chapter, the apex and umbrella body representing youths across the state, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Council, Comr. Akinbode Olakolupo Oluwasegun, the Osun NYCN described Governor Adeleke as a visionary, people-oriented, and transformational leader whose administration has continued to positively impact governance and development across Osun State.

The Council particularly applauded Governor Adeleke for his unwavering commitment to youth inclusion in governance, noting that his administration has created meaningful opportunities for young people to participate actively in leadership, public administration, policymaking, and developmental processes within the state.

According to the statement, the Governor’s youth-friendly disposition and support for youth participation have restored confidence among young people and strengthened their interest in governance and nation-building.

“Governor Ademola Adeleke has consistently demonstrated that youths remain important stakeholders in governance and development. His administration has continued to create opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to leadership and public service, thereby promoting inclusiveness and youth empowerment in Osun State,” the statement read.

The Osun NYCN further commended the Governor for his achievements in infrastructural development, workers’ welfare, healthcare delivery, education, road rehabilitation, and social development initiatives, all of which have continued to improve the standard of living of the people of the state.

The Council described Governor Adeleke as a transformational leader whose style of governance reflects humility, accessibility, compassion, and genuine concern for the welfare and progress of the people. It added that the developmental strides recorded under the present administration have continued to position Osun State as a model of progressive and people-centered governance.

While wishing the Governor many more years in sound health, wisdom, and strength, the Osun NYCN prayed for God’s continued guidance upon his administration as he continues to lead the state towards greater progress and sustainable development.
